Waiting for the Miraculous: On Poetry and Art
Visual art has inspired some of the most glorious and groundbreaking writing of all time—from John Keats' "Ode on a Grecian Urn" to Anne Carson's "The Glass Essay." In this class we will not only explore these writings and the art from which they draw, but also create our own work within this tradition.

Bianca Stone is a poet and visual artist. She is the author of Someone Else’s Wedding Vows (Tin House, 2014); Poetry Comics From the Book of Hours, (Pleiades, 2016), and the illustrated edition of Antigonick, (New Directions, 2012) a collaboration with Anne Carson. She is a founding member of the Ruth Stone Foundation & Monk Books.
